Advanced Features

Client multi-client and HWID identity

How many Metin2 windows open on the same PC is measured on the client. HWID combines motherboard, RAM, IPv4, and IPv6 into one identity; protection is continuously updated and we aim for rapid response when new evasion patterns appear.

Identity signals stored on the client

M2Guard combines these signals on the client:

  • Motherboard ID
  • RAM ID
  • IPv4
  • IPv6

If one is masked, others keep the match. Permanent bans bind to this profile.

Multi-client limit

Set an upper limit such as 1 - 2 clients from the panel. Too many windows from the same HWID raises farm-bot suspicion; action is applied on the client.

Ban management

HWID bans are issued or auto-triggered from the panel. Internet café whitelist can be configured via support. No server ban script required - the client refuses entry or closes the game.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about this page and short answers.

Motherboard, RAM, IPv4, and IPv6 are checked together on the client, so naive spoofing is unreliable. We keep tightening signals and ship updates quickly when new evasion patterns appear.

Identity and matching are on the client layer; no extra DB columns on the server.

Identity updates; legitimate players can request a reset via support.
